Instructions
Step 1
Find and download a movie that you would like to watch on your phone. Some sites offer video files already encoded into a format suitable for viewing on a phone. Most often this format is 3gp. If you find just such a movie, then step 2 can be skipped.
Step 2
If your movie is not in a format that can be played on a cell phone, you should recode it. To do this, use a special video converter. Most modern converters already have a base with settings for a specific phone model. You don't even have to rack your brains. All you need is to find your model in the list and start the transcoding process.
If your mobile phone model is not in the list or the program does not contain automatic settings at all, you will have to enter the parameters for manual transcoding. To do this, you will need data such as screen resolution, supported video and audio codecs, Bit Rate (greatly affects the size and quality of the file after transcoding) and the number of frames per minute. After entering all this data, you can start converting the movie into a format suitable for viewing on the phone.
Owners of a smartphone based on Symbian, Android, iOS or Windows Mobile can do differently. Install a special player on your phone that allows you to watch videos with almost any extension.
Step 3
Connect your phone to the computer using a USB cable or USB bluetooth adapter and copy the resulting movie file to the phone's memory card. Now all that remains is to start the movie and enjoy watching.
