Instructions
Step 1
The nokia phone lineup is constantly updated with new products. Different generations of phones can differ significantly in the types of played formats. Therefore, first of all, look in the instructions of the phone which video formats your model supports. Then check if you have free space in the device memory.
Step 2
Download the movie you are interested in from the Internet in a format that suits your phone. On some sites you can find a whole section dedicated to films recoded specifically for phones and PDAs.
Step 3
If you didn’t find the desired version of the video, make it yourself. To do this, download a movie in one of the common video formats, for example, avi or mpg4. Then recode it using a converter program.
Step 4
Copy the finished video file to your phone. To do this, use the cable and software disc that were sold with the phone. Insert the disc into the drive and install the driver software from it. Connect your phone with a cable to your computer. The phone will display a message about the type of connection. Select "Storage". Now you can access your phone's memory card through the My Computer desktop icon. Copy the movie to a folder on your phone called video.
Step 5
You can also do the previous step using the pc suite program. Install the program on your computer. Then connect your phone with a cable. In the message that appears in the message, select the name of the program instead of the word "Storage". Run the program and study its interface. Copy the movie using the program to the video folder.
Step 6
Disconnect your phone from your computer and cable. Open the Gallery folder on your phone. Select the heading "Videos". Highlight the copied movie and click on the "Play" menu item.
