To disconnect a subscriber from the telephone network, you need his personal statement or the occurrence of certain reasons that prevent the continuation of the provision of services under the concluded agreement, as well as other circumstances provided for by the rules for the provision of services of a particular service company.
Necessary
- - the passport;
- - other documents required by your telephone company.
Instructions
Step 1
Contact your mobile operator with your passport or any other identification document as required by the laws of the country in which you live. Tell him that you want to stop providing you with cellular services, after which your phone number will be disconnected.
Step 2
Use an alternative way to turn off cellular services. To do this, simply do not use them for a certain time provided by your operator, after which the number will be deactivated.
Step 3
During this period, try not to make outgoing calls, send messages and requests, do not go online and do not check the balance of your personal account. For Megafon subscribers this period is 3 months, for Beeline subscribers - six months. Check the details on the official website of the operator serving you.
Step 4
In order to disconnect from the city telephone network, write an application to the office of the telephone company, attaching a list of required documents to it. Please note that the disconnection of a landline telephone can only be made by the person in whose name he is registered, otherwise your application will be rejected. You may also need receipts for payment of services for a certain period of time using telephony services.
Step 5
If you would like the telephone company to discontinue cellular or landline telephone services for any reason, make sure that these relate to the cases provided for in the company's disconnection policy. Most likely, you may need confirmation of your reasons for contacting this matter. The reasons may be gross violations of the rules for using the company's services and other cases prescribed in the contract.
