Today, everyone is hearing 3D films that will soon replace conventional 2D films. But not everyone knows how to watch 3D movies at home. Meanwhile, this is reality, and now you can watch such a film.
Instructions
Step 1
Buy a 3D film and glasses for it (most often red-blue or red-green).
Step 2
Now determine which format the purchased (downloaded movie) belongs to. They come in 3 formats - anaglyph, interlace, stereo pair. Usually the format is indicated on the disc box. A stereo pair is easily distinguishable from other types by the fact that when you open it on a regular DVD player, you will see two identical pictures on one screen at once. An interlaced movie will look “muddy” with blurry lines, while anaglyph picture will be clearer.
Step 3
Prepare your DVD player. It will come in handy if it turns out that you have an anaglyph movie. Then just put on glasses (red-blue or red-green), enjoy a colorful movie and consider that you have already found the answer to your question - how to watch 3D movies at home.
Step 4
If the film is recorded in interlace or stereo pair formats, then you will need a special program on your computer to view such films. The program can be downloaded from the Internet, for example Stereo Movie Player.
Step 5
Launch your Stereo Movie Player. In the program menu select: OPEN - specify the location and name of your movie. And also specify the format of the movie: Side-By-Side - for side-by-side stereo pair; Interlaced - for interlace format; a / b - for vertical stereopair. Select and screen type - color (color).
Step 6
Also, before you start watching, it is recommended to install the iZ3D driver (you can download it from the Internet) in order to avoid any further misunderstandings, which will help you watch three-dimensional films on your computer. Also keep in mind that anaglyph films are considered to be of lower quality and color than films in alternative formats.
