Many 3G Internet users purchase MTS modems with minimal contracts, since their cost is low. But using the services of this particular operator is not beneficial for everyone. If you became the owner of a modem from MTS, but want to connect to another operator, you will need to unlock this device. To deal with this problem, you can simply generate this code yourself.

- - IMEI code of the modem.
Instructions
Step 1
First, get a special unlocking program that is freely available on the Internet. In the archive you will see two generators of unlock codes for the aforementioned modems. This amount is necessary in order for you to be able to check the code generated by one program in order to prevent errors from occurring. One code generator is called Huawei and the other is called HUAWEI Calculator. Remember that they support all modem models currently popular among a wide range of consumers.
Step 2
To be able to generate the code, you must know the IMEI code of the modem, which is a combination of 15 characters, just like on phones. To recognize it, look at the inscription on the back of the modem, on the box, on the documents for the device, on the sticker or in the program that is installed with the modem, for which you will have to go to the options-diagnostics section.
Step 3
Now run the programs located in the archive, which you can download from the Internet, and enter the modem code in the field.
Step 4
In one program you are running, pay attention to the first combination of numbers Unlock code - this is the modem unlock code.
Step 5
In the second program, attention should be paid to the combination of numbers that are located after the foreign word "Desbloqueo". Remember, in both programs, the code must be the same.
Step 6
Now insert another SIM card, connect the modem to your PC.
Step 7
After doing all of the above, you will notice that the modem asks for the code that you just managed to generate. Change the access point by going to the option menu - profile management.
