Mms messages provide a unique opportunity to share photos, music and videos with friends and family. To exchange mms, you need to correctly connect the service on your cell phone.
Instructions
Step 1
Some operators support automatic setting of mms messages. To do this, just send an sms to the service number of your telecom operator. In the reply message you will be sent the settings that will need to be saved in the cell phone memory. However, not all phone models and not all cellular operators support this option. Setting up mms yourself is quite simple and will not cause serious difficulties.
Step 2
The initial step in setting up mms messages is to select a suitable mms profile. Usually one operator offers one or two possible ways of mms-communication. In the settings of the selected profile, you must register the name of the telecom operator, home URL (Internet address of the messaging service center), IP address (if necessary). To access the mms exchange, you also need to enable the DNS server function and register the addresses of the DNS 1 and DNS 2 server. The address of your operator's website is used as an access point. To use this service, you will again need to enter the name of the cellular operator as a login and password for accessing the network.
Step 3
Further, the mode of creating messages needs to be configured. The default is usually Unlimited. It does not provide for restrictions on the size and amount of data contained in mms. You can also choose "Warning" or "Restricted" modes. The first one warns of exceeding the permissible size, the second one provides for certain restrictions initially.
Step 4
To know if the addressee has received your message, connect the delivery report for the mms message. Then, in case of correct receipt of mms by the subscriber, a corresponding notification will be sent to your phone number. The read report is sent only after opening the sent message.
