The convenience of such a service as receiving and sending SMS messages was not immediately recognized by mobile operators and their subscribers, although the possibility of transmitting small text blocks was originally laid down in the GSM standard. But today, few of us do not use it several times during the day. Sometimes it is cheaper for subscribers located in different regions to exchange short SMS messages than phone calls. The fact that the phone has received an SMS message, you will be notified by a sound signal.
Instructions
Step 1
Having heard the sound signal about the receipt of a message, you will immediately see the inscription on the phone screen: “1 message received”. Click the "Open" button and read the message. If you did not react and did not immediately read the information received, then you can receive the message at any other time.
Step 2
The fact that you have unread messages is indicated by the icon in the form of a closed mail envelope on the monitor display. To read them, go to the phone menu and open the "Messages" folder and select "Inbox" from the list. Open the list and look at all the messages, next to which there will be an icon with a sealed envelope - these are unread messages. After you read the message, it will be marked as read with a new icon representing an open envelope.
Step 3
If for some reason you do not have your phone at hand, but you are waiting for a new message that is important to you, then you can order a printout of all messages received for a certain period in the company salon of your telecom operator. To do this, it is enough to present your passport and indicate your mobile phone number. You can apply for a printout even if you accidentally erased the received SMS message with important information for you.
Step 4
You can read messages stored in the phone's memory by connecting it to a computer, if your phone provides this option, you have the appropriate software and a connecting cable.
