Step 1
Setting the brightness of the backlight, like all other functions of the "handheld", is done in the corresponding section of the device menu. To get into it, just on the Today screen (if your PDA is Russified, this screen is called "Today"), press the "Start" button, in the menu that opens, at the very bottom, and the "Settings" option is located.
Step 2
After clicking on it, the communicator settings window will open. It consists of several tabs. A shortcut for adjusting the brightness of the backlight is located in the "System" tab.

There are also three tabs in the backlight settings menu. First, it is logical to open the "Brightness" tab and manually adjust the required backlight brightness level depending on the PDA power supply - an internal battery or an external source. This is undoubtedly convenient, because when the communicator is connected to an external power source, there is practically no need to save energy.
Step 4
The "Battery charge" tab allows you to set the automatic switching off of the backlight of the PDA display during inactivity of the device. This function is very important because the backlight is a very power-consuming device and its operating time is inversely proportional to the total battery life of the PDA. Also on this screen, you can enable or disable the activation of the backlight when you touch the screen or buttons.
Step 5
The "External power supply" tab is similar to the previous one in terms of controls, with the only difference that now you can set the shutdown time when an external power device is connected. Its meaning is to save the resource of the backlight lamp in the event that the user has not turned it off manually.
