Most car owners use navigators that make it much easier to navigate both in large cities and beyond. In order to use all the functions of your navigator, you need to register your device and maps.
Instructions
Step 1
First you need to register your navigator. Find the extension number of your navigator by connecting your device to your computer and turn it on. Then start the MapSource program. Select the menu item "Utilities", then - "Get unit ID …". In the “Unit ID” field, the navigator number will be determined automatically.
Step 2
Click on the link "Register a new GPS navigator". From the list, select the model of your navigator, indicate its extension number and click "Add". The information page will show the navigator you added. You have successfully registered your navigator.
Step 3
The most popular is the digital navigation map "Russia" in information format. This package of navigation maps can be used only in the registered navigation software Navitel Navigator.
Step 4
For registration, only one key is provided, which can be used for one PDA, auto navigator or communicator. This code is required to unlock map information from disks by loading maps.
Step 5
To register the program in automatic mode, connect the navigator to the Internet and launch Navitel Navigator. In the registration window that opens, select "Automatic registration". Click on the field for entering the license key. The numeric keypad will be enabled. Enter the key on your copy of the program. In the lower right corner, click on the green checkmark to confirm your entry.
Step 6
Go through the automatic card registration. To do this, connect the navigator to the Internet and launch Navitel Navigator. Select "Card Activation". Enter the license key on the card, then click "OK".
Step 7
Select the required region of Russia, the maps of which you want to activate, click "OK". In the program, open the "Menu", then "Open Atlas". Index the folder with maps. The map has been successfully loaded into your navigator.
Step 8
Registration steps may vary depending on the provider. A version of the Navitel Navigator program can only be purchased as a set.
