The MTS operator has developed a program for its subscribers that allows you to send free messages (SMS and MMS) from a computer directly to a mobile phone. There is no fee for using the program.
Instructions
Step 1
Download the program to your computer. To do this, go to the official website of the company and click on the "Send SMS / MMS" icon located on the main page. On the left, you will see a column titled "Advanced Send Options". Click on it and then select "SMS / MMS from PC". You will be offered a link to download the program.
Step 2
After installing the program, register it. Run it and wait for a separate window to appear. You must enter your mobile phone number into it. Then send the USSD-command * 111 * 31 # to the operator (it is free). In response, you should receive an SMS with a registration code. Specify it in the special field and click "Next". Upon completion of this procedure, you will see a notification on the computer screen (it will tell you if everything went well).
Step 3
To send an MMS message, click on the "New MMS" icon in the control panel located at the top of the window. Then enter the number of the recipient subscriber. You do not have to specify your number, since the program will set it automatically. Attach the necessary files and enter your message text, and then click on the "Send" button. The program will take you to a page that will display the status of the MMS you sent.
Step 4
If necessary, set a schedule for sending messages (for example, specify the exact time of sending all SMS and MMS). In addition, you can specify and instant send. To configure, open the special menu. To do this, click on the icon next to the "Send" column.
Step 5
Keep in mind that you can send a free message not only using the program, but also directly from the MTS operator's website. Open the already mentioned section called "Send SMS / MMS". Next, you will see several fields to fill out, enter your mobile number and the recipient's number in them. Then specify the data to send, click the "Next" button.
