Step 1
Go to a special service from the operator, which allows you to send SMS from a computer to an MTS phone for free (the link is below). Indicate your region, then proceed to filling in the required fields. Enter your mobile phone number, as well as the number of the subscriber to whom the SMS will be sent. Fill in the text of the message. Please note that its maximum length is 140 characters. Do not forget to subscribe, otherwise the subscriber may not understand who the SMS came from.
Step 2
Configure additional functions for sending a free message to the MTS number. You can choose automatic transliteration so that the subscriber receives SMS in Latin (useful if he has an old mobile phone that does not support Russian). The following functions may be paid depending on the region, and if you activate them, then when you send SMS, you will receive a notification about their connection to your number. For example, "SMS-Express" will make your message suddenly appear on top of all menu items on the recipient's phone screen, which will create a surprise and prank effect. The "SMS Secret" function sets the sent messages with a unique password, so that they cannot be read by anyone except the addressee. "SMS-Calendar" configures sending messages at a certain time, and "SMS-Group" allows you to send SMS to several subscribers at once.
Step 3
Go through the procedure for verifying your identity by entering a captcha and click "Next". An automatic message with a verification code will be sent to your number. Enter it and click "Next" again. You will see a notification that your message is in the queue to be sent. After a while (depending on the number of messages sent at the moment on the server), the free SMS will be successfully sent to the required subscriber.
Step 4
Try to use messenger programs to send SMS from your computer to your MTS phone for free, for example, "Agent", ICQ or Skype. They all have a corresponding function. It is enough to add the desired subscriber to the contact list, type the text of the message and send it in the form of SMS to the mobile number specified in the user's personal data.
