Instructions
Step 1
Subscribe to the service on the official MegaFon website. To do this, go to the "Internet" section and select "Internet from a mobile phone". Indicate your phone model, desired settings (choose Internet-GPRS), enter your phone number and confirmation code. Receive an SMS message from the operator to your phone with the Internet connection settings.
Step 2
Set up the Internet through the "Profiles" on your phone. Open the phone menu, go to settings. In the "Communication" (or "Services") tab, find "Internet Settings", then go to "Internet Profiles". Select "Megafon Internet". The path to "Profiles", as well as the settings themselves, depend on the model of your telephone set.
Step 3
If possible, connect your phone to the internet using Wi-Fi. This method is commonly used by smartphone owners. To do this, in the settings, find the tab (most likely "Communication"), connected or with the Internet. Turn on wireless internet. If you are the owner of an iPhone, then go to "Settings", move the slider in the "Wi-Fi" item and, if necessary, enter the password for the network.
Step 4
Contact a consultant at the MegaFon office to set up the Internet on your phone. He will help you activate the service. Check if the internet is working after setting up.
