Some Chinese phones come with a computer cable. However, if there is a desire or need to flash the phone, you will not be able to use this cable, it is not intended for these purposes. If you want to update the software stuffing of the device, you can make the connection cable yourself.
Instructions
Step 1
First of all, you will need an additional USB cable, you will also need to find a cable with a PL-2303 microcircuit, for example, a cable from a Simens C55 phone, cables from later versions of Simens phones will not work.
Step 2
Find on the Internet the pinout of the cable for your phone model. If you cannot find the necessary circuits, you can determine the pinouts yourself, in this case you will need a tester (multimeter).
Switch off the phone, the battery must be charged.
• Set the tester to resistance measurement mode. Use one of the tester's probes to clean the cable contacts, and hold the other on the “-” contact of the phone battery. As soon as the tester shows a value close to zero, the grounding pin of the cable (GND) will be determined, usually it has black insulation, remember it.
• Set the tester to the voltage measurement mode. Keep one of the probes on the grounding contact (GND), with the other touch the remaining contacts, while you need to briefly press the phone's power button. The tester reading in the area of 2.7 - 2.8 volts indicates the found RX and TX contacts, remember these contacts.
Step 3
Solder the GND, RX and TX pins to the PL-2303 chip, the pinout of the PL-2303 chip can be found on the Internet.
The resulting cable can be used to flash a Chinese phone.
