If you buy Meizu M3s from China, you may have problems with the firmware. Usually sellers on Chinese sites indicate that the phone is equipped with global firmware. But often in practice it turns out that such a function is not supported at all, and when you try to update the smartphone manually using the standard method, the device gives a Firmware corrupt error. In this case, there are several options for your further behavior: either completely abandon updates, or switch to Chinese firmware (the Russian language will not be supported), or turn the Chinese firmware into an international version. If you decide to stay with the latter option, then changing the identifier will help you.
Let's consider the method for changing the id on Flyme 5.1.5.1A firmware. First, activate your Flyme account, open root access.
Next, you need to install the Terminal Emulator application on your smartphone, and download the script (global.sh) to the root to change the id. Now start the Terminal, enter this after the $ symbol: su (enable "Grant" superuser rights, after that the $ symbol will change to #) sh /storage/emulated/0/global.sh (run the script).
This command in the terminal should start the process of changing the identifier. Wait a couple of seconds - the smartphone should reboot into Recovery mode. Now download the latest global version of Flyme to your computer. Copy the update.zip file to your smartphone, be sure to tick the "Upgrade", "Clear Data" checkboxes. Then everything is simple - press start.
