Instructions

Step 1

Make sure you have the drivers installed on your sound card that usually come with the device. If you have it integrated into the motherboard, the device driver can be used one for all. Find on the system unit of your computer the outputs from its sound card. Usually they are located on the back of the case, however, they can be connected through the front or side panel, as well as using monitors or keyboard as adapters. These are usually small, color-coded connectors. There are three of them in standard sound cards - blue, green and pink, and in removable ones there are more.

Step 2

Connect the speakers of your speaker system by connecting them to the main unit or to an active speaker. To do this, use the cables that come with the device as standard. Be sure to follow the color scheme for connecting the wires. Insert a wire with a connector for connecting speakers to a computer into the main device, and on the other side of it, connect the plug to the corresponding connector of the sound card, which is marked in green or the corresponding icon with the headphone image.

Step 3

If there are more than two speakers, connect to the sound card according to the color scheme, as otherwise some or all of them may not work.

Step 4

Plug in the speaker system, turn the switch to On mode, and then adjust the volume. Turn on your computer and click to play any audio file to check if the connection is correct. Configure audio playback and playback special effects in the appropriate menu on your computer control panel (Sounds and Audio Devices menu). Also adjust the volume setting from the sound settings icon in the notification area.
