Step 1

Open the instructions for the universal remote control, find in it the position on which manufacturers' equipment this device is suitable for. For the English version, this will be the Brand section. Each company has its own code, mark the combinations that you need. Decide how you will set up the remote control - using an automatic code search, or manually.
Step 3
To set up the universal remote manually, turn on the device you want to program it to control. Press simultaneously the SET button and the button that corresponds to the desired technique - TV, DVD, AUX and so on. After the LED indicator on the remote control button panel lights up, find the three-digit code corresponding to the brand, enter the numbers in order. If the setting is completed, the sequence of actions has been followed exactly, the indicator will go out.
Step 4
Carry out automatic setup of the remote control. First turn on the device - stereo, microwave, and so on. At the same time, any of the channels should work on the TV, and a disc must be inserted into the DVD-player and stereo system. Aim the universal remote control at the required piece of equipment by pressing the SET button and hold it down for a while. Simultaneously press the button under which the device appears. As soon as the backlight of the POWER key lights up, the setting of the remote control is completed.
