The USB connection is one of the fastest, easiest and most versatile. You simply plug the cable into your phone, plug the other end into a USB port on your computer and download music to your phone and photos back. But sometimes the connection fails. Here are five main reasons why it might be.
Instructions
Step 1
The most common reason is if everything was always good, and at some point the phone stopped seeing each other, cable failure. Connectors are designed for a certain, albeit very large number of connections, and sometimes they no longer provide the desired contact. Just try replacing the cable with a different one.
Step 2
Malfunction of the USB port of the computer. This can also be. Try connecting your phone to other ports. This measure is often sufficient.
If it still doesn't work, it's a good idea to connect your phone to another computer. Then you can be sure that the problem is in your desktop or laptop.
Step 3
In some cases, restarting your computer may help. This measure is especially effective for computers with an old operating system prior to Windows 7.
Step 4
On older operating systems, the device may require a driver. It is quite simple to check this: press the Win + Pause keys on the computer and select the Device Manager. If a driver is needed, the device will be marked with an exclamation mark. The figure shows an example for Windows 8.1.
Step 5
If none of the above measures helped, then perhaps the matter is in the phone's firmware or a non-working MicroUSB or MiniUSB port. You may need to contact the service center.
