Instructions
Step 1
Select the model1 of the device to be controlled and read the instruction manual. The last pages of the manual contain codes for different manufacturers of the controlled device: stereo, TV, etc. Find the codes (usually there are three) for the device.
Step 2
Insert two AAA Alkaline mini-finger batteries into the remote control battery compartment, observing the polarity. Press the POWER key to test the functionality of the remote. If everything is in order, the key indicator will blink.
Step 3
Enter the found code on the remote, if the device is in the list. Press the SET and TV (or DVD, depending on the device class) keys on the remote control. Enter the code again after the indicator on the POWER key lights up. If the device does not work, repeat the operations with a different code that may match this device.
Step 4
If the device is not in the code list, or the remote control does not control the device, perform an automatic code search. Turn on the controlled device (for example, a TV) for one of the programs to work. Press the SET and TV keys on the remote control at the same time.
Step 5
Hold for about five seconds until the POWER key indicator starts flashing intermittently. Point the remote at the device. If the device responds, press any key except the SET key. If you could not react to the device shutdown in time, repeat the automatic search.
Step 6
Perform manual search if the remote does not control the device. Turn on the controlled device and quickly simultaneously press the TV and SET keys for a short time (1-3 seconds). After the POWER key indicator lights up, briefly press the POWER key approximately every second until the controlled device responds to the remote control. Press the TV or SET key to end the search.
