The volume level of audio devices in the computer is adjusted in several menus at once. Also, the sound may depend on the capabilities of the sound card and output devices - speakers.
The speakers can play quietly, primarily due to the adjustment of the level of the reproduced audio signal. Check on their body the special regulators that adjust this parameter. Also make sure you don't have the audio limiting feature turned on. Check the volume setting in the player that plays audio and video files on your computer, sometimes this may be the case. Also, do not forget to check the signal from the sound card by clicking on the sound settings icon in the notification area on the taskbar of the operating system. Try also to check the connection of the speaker wires, make sure that the wire is in close contact with the terminals on the back of the audio device. Make sure that the wires are not damaged, have not been exposed to water or any other harmful external influences. Check the sound card driver, if necessary, reinstall or update it. Also open the dedicated driver control program and check the audio level settings. Make sure the speakers are the problem. To do this, connect them with a cable to another device, such as a portable player or telephone. To do this, use a cable with a jack connector. Test your computer by connecting speakers or headphones to its sound card. If the speakers began to play quietly after a certain amount of time and you did not make any changes in the organization of their work, most likely this indicates their malfunction. Contact a special service center for the repair of audio equipment, or, if you have certain skills, do the repair yourself.
