Step 1
Make a home TV antenna from empty beer cans. This is a very popular method that has been used by many for a long time. The essence of the method is as follows. Prepare a shielded cable long enough to run from the TV to a window or balcony.
Step 2
Take two empty beer cans. Banks must be dry inside. The main difficulty with this method of making a home TV antenna is the inconvenience of securing the cans. You will not be able to solder them to the cable. Self-tapping screws do not hold well in them, so it would be best to resort to a not entirely technical method of fastening.
Step 3
Make the antenna body so that it is convenient to fix it. To do this, you will need an ordinary medium-length stick with a crossbar at the end, to which you will attach the cans. So, to assemble a home antenna, make two holes in the cans, located next to each other.
Step 4
Strip about 15-20 centimeters of insulation from the cable. Coil the copper shielding into one thick wire. Remove about 5 centimeters of insulation from the main wire. Pass the shielding wire through the holes in one jar, pass the second wire through the holes in the other jar. Wrap them tightly so they don't fall out. For greater reliability of fastening, you can solder them. On the other side of the wire, solder the plug so that it is convenient to connect the antenna to the TV.

Mount the antenna on a balcony or on the back of a window for the best possible reception. In fact, an antenna can be made from any metal product, even from ordinary wire. After all, an antenna can be (remember the school course in physics) any open oscillatory circuit. The longer the length of the wire and the width of its cross-section, the better and better signal reception will be. If you have a long thick wire, then you can easily use it as an antenna.
