More and more people are now switching to satellite TV, because it has many advantages. This is a high image quality, a wide variety of channels, independence from operators, etc. But in order for your personal "Express" antenna to broadcast channels in high quality, you need to set it up correctly.

Necessary

  • - a set of satellite equipment;
  • - pliers.

Instructions

Step 1

Find a suitable location for the satellite dish. Consider the fact that she is very sensitive to her surroundings. For example, a tree standing in the path of a satellite signal can completely or partially "block" the reception. It is necessary to try to eliminate interference in the signal path and thereby make the mirror (plate) diagonal larger.

Step 2

When all the wires are connected, proceed to tuning the antenna (shooting). Shooting begins from the central head. It must be set to Sirius. Set the frequency to 11766, polarization "H" and speed 27500 in the receiver. There are 2 stripes on the receiver: red, indicating the signal from the satellite and connecting the dish, and yellow, indicating the signal strength from the satellite. If the antenna is connected correctly, the signal level should show approximately 40%.

Step 3

Now go to the dish itself to adjust the signal quality. Turn the antenna up and to the left until it stops, and then, in search of the best signal strength, slowly turn it all the way from left to right, then lower it down. Continue these steps until the signal is found. When it is caught, a yellow bar will appear. If you managed to get into the satellite, it will show about 21%. Fix the antenna in this position. Then lower it a little and turn it gently to the left. Watch for quality changes. Return the antenna to its original position if it has decreased. Then turn slightly to the right (do not forget to monitor the signal level) and in the same way raise and lower the antenna up and down.

Step 4

The signal should be caught by 40%, but this is not enough, because with this indicator, TV viewing may be interrupted due to the slightest wind or rain. Therefore, turn the converter clockwise and then counterclockwise and see in which position the signal quality will increase. If the mount allows, first try to bring the converter closer to the antenna, and then move it away. It also has an impact, but the length of the bracket for the center converter is usually tailored to the length. Normal signal quality is considered to be 65-70%.
