There are many ways to flash microcircuits. As a rule, all these methods are similar in principle and sequence of actions. Most often, a flashing of the microcircuits of mobile phones is required. This is done in order to slightly change the characteristics of the device for the better.
Instructions
Step 1
Firmware refers to reinstalling old or installing updated software on a mobile phone or other device.
To flash a telephone microcircuit, you will need: a personal computer with Internet access or a medium on which new software is recorded, the phone itself, a cable for connecting it to the computer (it is usually included in the kit with the phone, or it can be purchased separately in any cell phone store). connection or a computer store), as well as a disk with a program for synchronizing this phone model with a computer.
Step 2
Make sure you have new software to match your phone model in advance. It can be purchased in specialized stores, but if this fails, then just download the software from the Internet.
Step 3
Next, you need to connect your phone to your computer using a USB cable. To do this, insert the cable into the inputs and select the PC suite option in the phone settings.
Step 4
After the computer detects new hardware, run the synchronization program for your phone and PC. Next, in the synchronization program, you need to find the “software update” tab and click on it. You will be prompted to update the software via the Internet or using another resource. Choose the latter.
Step 5
In the "Path" line, indicate the location of your new software that you downloaded from the Internet in advance or purchased on disk.
Step 6
Then close the synchronization program and in the lower right corner of the desktop, click the "Safely Remove Hardware" button. Choose the device you want - your phone. After all this, you can disconnect the USB cable from the PC and phone.
Step 7
Now turn on your phone. If you have updated the software on your phone in order, for example, to "refresh" the device, then you will hardly see any changes in any of the main parameters. But if the version of the software that you embedded into the board is updated, then for sure your device will work faster and, possibly, new functions will appear in it.
Step 8
In the same way, you can flash the microcircuit of almost any device that has software, if it can be connected to a PC. The only difference is that you have to find the software and synchronization program that matches this device, not the phone.
