Despite the fact that you do not need to hire a specialist to install a protective glass on a smartphone screen, when doing this work you need to remember some subtleties, without which it will not be crowned with success.
properly selected glass (not only in size, but also in characteristics) protects the smartphone screen from sufficiently significant mechanical stress. Moreover, the glass itself does not shatter when shattering, reducing the risk of injury for the owner of the phone. Also, the oleophobic properties of glass make it easier to use a smartphone (fingerprints are almost invisible on such glasses).
How to stick the protective glass:
1. Open the packaging with the protective glass. Please note that if the kit does not include a special wet wipe for cleaning the smartphone screen, you will have to purchase it additionally before performing the following steps. You can also use a microfiber cloth to clean your phone screen.
It is not necessary to buy a microfiber cloth from a store that sells smartphones and other electronics, since the prices for this kind of product are usually overpriced there. Just go to any hardware store.
2. Before gluing the glass, you must thoroughly clean the smartphone screen from dirt, fingerprints, dust. This should be done with a microfiber cloth and a special cloth soaked in alcohol.
3. Remove the film from the protective glass. Place the glass on the smartphone screen so that the location of the slots in the glass coincides with the position of the speaker, camera, button.
4. Press on the center of the glass and the force of mutual attraction of the surface molecules will do the rest for you. Glass installed!
If, after installing the glass, you see a speck of dust or a hair accidentally caught between the protective glass and the smartphone screen, do not try to lift the edge of the glass to pull out the debris, since the chance of success of such an operation is small.
