When buying a film on a touch screen on your own, the question immediately arises of how to install it correctly. Any speck that gets on the adhesive surface of the film can cause bubbles to appear on the screen, so you should carefully approach the gluing process.

It is necessary

  • - protective film;
  • - lint-free napkin;
  • - a plastic card

Instructions

Step 1

First, thoroughly wipe the entire screen of the device with the lint-free degreasing cloth that is usually supplied with the film. Make sure there are no dirt, fingerprints or dust particles left. You can use a small amount of liquid or spray to clean LCD monitors. Do not use alcohol-based products.

Step 2

Remove the film from the package. Do not completely tear off the shipping film that is attached to the adhesive part, otherwise dust will immediately settle on it. Open only a small part of the adhesive side. Place it gently against the top edge of the screen so that the film is parallel to it. Peel off the shipping tape as you stick it, smoothing the already glued part (you can do this with a napkin or your finger).

Step 3

Smooth the edges with a napkin. If there are small bubbles left, you can disperse them with a napkin or credit card, but do not press hard on the screen. The film can be considered installed.

Step 4

If the sticker fails the first time, the film can be removed and reinstalled. To remove it, it is enough to pry it on one of the edges, after which the film will be removed on its own. If dust gets on it, then wash the adhesive part with liquid soap under running water, and dry well (you can use a hairdryer). Rinsing does not affect the properties of the film.

Step 5

There is a way to stick wet film. Place it under running water and shake it. Place it on the screen in the correct position and expel all the liquid with a plastic card. The water will pick up any dust and the screen will remain bubble-free.
