Necessary

  • - Movie Maker program;
  • - files with images;
  • - sound file.

Instructions

Step 1

Copy all the files you want to work with into one folder.

Step 2

Upload the files for your slide movie to the video editor. To do this, open the folder where you collected everything you need and select all the objects in the folder by pressing the Ctrl + A keyboard shortcut. Use the mouse to drag the selected files into the Movie Maker window.

Step 3

Come up with and write a title for your slide movie. To do this, use the "Titles and Titles" command from the "Tools" menu. In the window that opens, select the topmost option "Add title before the movie". Write a title. Using the options from the "Additional features" list, you can select the animation type, font and color for the name. Click on the caption "Done, insert the title into the movie."

Step 4

Use the mouse to place the sound file on the timeline.

Step 5

Use the mouse to drag the images onto the timeline. After adding a new picture, start playback and check how the music and video match. Try to make sure that the rhythm of the change of images coincides with the rhythm of the music. Increase the length of the frame if necessary. To do this, hold down the left mouse button and drag the frame.

Step 6

Insert transitions between images. To do this, switch to Storyboard Display mode by clicking on the button above the timeline. In the "Tools" menu, select the "Video Transitions" option. Select the video transition icon and see in the player window what this transition looks like. Drag the selected video transition onto the arrow between frames on the timeline.

Step 7

Movie Maker allows you to apply simple effects to the video you create. To work with effects, choose the Video Effects option from the Tools menu. View the effects in the same way as you viewed the transitions. Drag the selected effect onto the image frame. To remove the effect, select the asterisk icon in the lower left corner of the frame and press the Delete key.

Step 8

Save the resulting slide movie. To do this, select the "Save Movie File" option from the "File" menu. In the window of the Save Movie Wizard that opens, select "Save to Computer". Click on the "Next" button. Specify the name of the saved video and the location where it will be saved. Click on the "Next" button again. From the list of suggested options, select the options with which your slide movie will be saved. After pressing the "Next" button again, the video file will be saved.
