Step 1
In order to disconnect your antenna from the TV, unplug its power cord from the outlet, turn it over so that the rear panel for connecting devices is in your field of view, pull out the cable, holding it by the base. It is best not to touch its bare contacts, as it may shock you. This connector is separate from the others, it is round in shape and is suitable for connecting an analog antenna.
Step 2
If you need to turn off the antenna due to the fact that you are not going to use the services in the future, dial the number of the company serving you, which you can find out from the contract concluded upon connection or from the payment receipt. After that, at the onset of the next period, the antenna will be turned off.
Step 3
To disconnect the digital antenna from the TV, simply pull out the plug from the corresponding connector. You can also take advantage of the disconnection of the receiver or other device through which the data transfer is performed.
Step 4
Please note that for any disconnection of devices in your TV, you need to follow the instructions, especially if other equipment is connected to it in addition to the antenna. Also note that some connectors may be roughly the same but serve different purposes. If you do not know what the signature to each of them means, find out on the Internet or do not disconnect yourself.
Step 5
If you want to disable certain channels, contact your service provider. Also, blocking or disconnection of certain channels can occur using the menu of the receiver, depending on its model or the firmware installed in it. For some channels, you can also simply knock down the settings through the TV menu.
