Necessary

  • - LCD monitor;
  • - overhead projector.

Instructions

Step 1

Disassemble the monitor into its component parts. This must be done very carefully so as not to damage the matrix. To be on the safe side, lay a soft material on the table that will prevent breakage if you accidentally drop a piece. As a result, you should have in your hands: a matrix with a board attached to it; power connection board; voltage boost board; board with monitor buttons.

Step 2

Prepare the surface to which the matrix will be attached. Take a glass of the appropriate size, on which glue two pieces of wood with the "Moment" glue. They will serve as a support for the matrix. Place it on top of them and secure with tape or duct tape.

Step 3

Make a cooling system for the matrix. To do this, you can fix the fan on one side for blowing air, and on the other - for blowing out. You can also install just two blowing fans with air intakes. In any case, it must be ensured that the matrix does not overheat too much.

Step 4

Take the lamp out of the overhead projector and install it in the case from the computer. It must be remembered that this device is very hot, therefore it needs a high-quality cooling system. Install two coolers for blowing out and a cooler that will blow up air. The latter can be installed on a small engine that will provide the required power.

Step 5

Install the monitor boards. Attach them so that they make minimal contact with the body in which the projector lamp is installed. Otherwise, they will overheat greatly and quickly fail.

Step 6

Put all the parts together. Connect the power supply. Before switching on, it is recommended to ring the connections with a tester to ensure that the circuit is correct. If everything is fine, you can turn on your homemade projector and enjoy watching your favorite movies.
