Despite the fact that eBay often suggests using projectors with VGA (640x480) or SVGA (800x600) resolutions, why do you need 480,000 or 300,000 pixels when you can make a projector and get 800,000? Buying a ready-made XGA projector would cost you $ 1,500, and you can build one for less than $ 300.

All projectors, both factory and self-assembled, consist of a backlit LCD display. An old LCD is fine, and you can buy it for $ 100. We are talking about used LCD monitors in 14 "or 15" sizes. An old LCD panel with a dead or burnt out lamp is ideal for assembling a projector.
