If you have a TV, you can easily display the image from your computer on its screen. It is convenient to watch movies and photos, play games on it. In addition, using the screen expansion function, you can continue to work on your computer while your loved ones are watching movies or photos.
Instructions
Step 1
If your computer and TV have an HDMI connector, then by connecting these devices using an HDMI cable, you can not only display the image on the TV screen, but also transmit the sound to the TV speakers. Select the external source connection in the TV menu. This is usually the AV or Video button on the TV remote. On the computer, in the display properties, enable the display of the image to the monitor. If you would like to expand the screen, then select "Expanded Screen". If the image does not appear on the TV, make sure that the set screen resolution is supported by the TV receiver.
Step 2
If your TV or computer does not have an HDMI interface, use a regular VGA cable - usually this cable connects the monitor to the computer. Once you have connected your computer and TV, you will be left with the same steps as for connecting with an HDMI cable.
Step 3
If the TV is not modern and does not even have a VGA connector, the last option remains - connecting a computer using an S-Video cable. When you connect your computer with such a cable, you should search for the signal coming from the computer using the Channel Tuning. At one of the frequencies, you will find an image that your computer transmits.
