The oldest way available today to find out what will be televised is to buy a newspaper with a TV program for a week. In each region, there are many local publications specializing in television reviews. However, it is not at all necessary to buy such a newspaper, they are often delivered directly to the mailbox along with a lot of free "spam". The disadvantages of this method are the need not to forget to purchase such a publication every weekend, the limited number of TV channels covered (only publicly available) and insufficient efficiency (possible changes in the program are not taken into account).

If you have access to the Internet, the annoying need to go for a newspaper will disappear - there are a lot of resources on the network that collect the maximum number of channels, including paid ones, on their TV program pages. However, if you are connected to a paid channel, it is better to watch the program guide on the home site of the provider of this service - in this case, you will have access to the schedule with all the latest changes in the broadcast of this particular provider.
Step 3
In some cases, you can find out the TV program of a particular channel without leaving the TV. If the channel of interest, in addition to image and sound, also broadcasts teletext, and your TV receiver allows you to view it, just press the corresponding button on the remote control and find among the teletext pages the one that contains the program schedule for the day you need.

On the new digital TV broadcasting format DVB-T or when using satellite TV, a similar option is available for each channel, regardless of whether it is broadcasting teletext. In the English-language menu of satellite receivers, the option to view the program of the currently active TV channel is encrypted with the letters EPG - Electronic Program Guide.
