Instructions
Step 1
In order to find out if the operator will disconnect your cell phone number, remember the last time you used your SIM card. If you made any transactions that used the network for a certain period of time not exceeding the maximum waiting period set by the operator, then the number will not be disconnected. These actions include: sending SMS and MMS messages, requests, access to the Internet, incoming and outgoing calls and checking the balance of the personal account.
Step 2
Find out the rules for using the services provided to you by your cellular operator. The phone number can also be disconnected for a long non-payment of cellular services for subscribers of the postpaid payment system. This happens when the debt on the balance of the personal account exceeds a certain amount set by the operator and is not paid for a long period of time. In this case, the phone number becomes unavailable, and a notification about the resulting debt amount is sent to your address. If you fail to pay, the company can sue you, so it's best not to wait for a second notice.
Step 3
If you want to know if your city telephone exchange is going to be suspended, see the latest billing receipts. If everything is in order with them, then the phone will not be disconnected. If you have not paid the bill for the previous period, the provision of services may be suspended until the payment is made. Also, you can turn off your landline phone for other reasons specified in the contract concluded upon connection. Violation of its conditions in some cases leads to complete or partial restriction of access to communication services. If your copy of the contract has been lost, please contact the company office for a new one.
