Apple introduced new models of mobile devices in September 2020. These are two iPads and two Apple Watch.
Apple Watch SE
The Apple Watch SE is, as the name suggests, the budget version of Apple's smartwatch. The device uses the Apple S5 processor, and, in addition to the old processor used, differs from the basic version of the watch, in the impossibility of performing an electrocardiogram and Always On Display. The Apple Watch SE is almost identical in style to the base model.
The Apple Watch SE, according to Apple, is a combination of the "design" of the Apple Watch Series 6 and key features known from the Apple Watch. The watch is equipped with some Series 6 sensors, it has a drop detection function, and children will be able to use it without their iPhone thanks to the Family Setup function.
Prices start at $ 279.
Apple Watch 6
Apple's flagship smartwatch, the Apple Watch 6, already uses the new S6 processor, which should be 20% more efficient than the previous generation. There were no changes to the style of the device, but a new blue version and a red Product RED version were added. The watch has been expanded to include blood oxygen measurement and an optional new Solo Loop slip-on strap. The cheapest option costs $ 399 and of course there are two sizes of watch available.
iPad 8
The iPad 8 doesn't differ significantly from its predecessor. It has wide bezels around the screen, with room for a button with a Touch ID fingerprint sensor. However, we can find new items inside the case, which is powered by the Apple A12 processor, known, for example, in the iPhone XS. The equipment includes a 10, 2-inch Retina screen and two cameras. The iPad 8 offers support for the Apple Pencil and optional keyboard covers, and prices start at $ 329. You can choose from 32GB or 128GB storage and an optional cellular LTE modem.
iPad Air 4
The fourth generation iPad Air is something completely new. The device has a significantly updated look, with reduced bezels, and will be offered in bold colors - even in red. iPad Air 4 received a 10.9-inch Liquid Retina screen, 12-megapixel camera and 7-megapixel FaceTime camera. The fourth iPad Air also has a power button, which hasn't been used before, built into the fingerprint reader located on the side of the case. Another interesting feature is the use of a typical USB-C connector instead of the proprietary Lightning. In addition, the tablet received a new Apple A14 processor, made using 5nm lithography. This system will also appear on new iPhones. The cheapest variant of this model costs $ 599. 64 or 256 GB of storage and an optional LTE modem are available.
