Ultra-budget smartphone that you can buy for mom, child and yourself "in case of emergency." The charge holds well, it is comfortable in the hand. What else do you need to know before deciding to buy?
Doogee X10 belongs to the category of ultra-budget smartphones, because the price for it ranges from 2,600 to 3,500 Russian rubles. The Doogee brand is well-known, the brand is solid. The company has been working for a long time, but it became widely known after the bestseller Doogee X5. New items come out regularly, and therefore the manufacturer can be trusted. The doogee x10 model is positioned as a stylish and reliable (due to the metal body) smartphone with a sufficiently capacious battery.
Doogee X10 design
The five-inch phone is quite comfortable in the hand. The back panel is metal. The cover can be easily removed. The frames are made of metal, the front of the smartphone is glass. The combination of these materials is often found in more expensive phones, the price of which starts from 6 thousand rubles.
Outwardly, the smartphone is not much different from most others. The design is laconic, versatile and does not evoke any special emotions. There is no fingerprint scanner so popular now, but the price does not imply this "chip". On the back cover of the phone there is a camera peephole, an external speaker and a flash. The front panel is also standard: touch-sensitive navigation keys, a proximity and light sensor and a speaker.
The Doogee X10 comes in three colors: Champagne Gold, Space Silver, and Dark Obsidian.
Doogee X10 specifications
You shouldn't expect outstanding performance from an ultra-budget smartphone. The five-inch display of the Doogee X10 is equipped with an IPS matrix. The screen resolution is only 480x854, but in a number of sources there is information about the HD resolution. It is this parameter, as you know, that directly affects the response speed of the phone: the higher the resolution, the more the processor is involved. And the processor is just the secret of the cheapness of this smartphone.
The Doogee X10 has a fairly old (introduced in the fall of 2015) MediaTek MT6570 processor with two cores. It was never popular because more powerful and comparable options existed at that time. The synthetic AnTuTu test shows a result of only 18 thousand points, which is very, very modest. From this it follows that Doogee X10 is able to provide the user with a fairly comfortable use of social networks, surfing the Internet and launching the simplest toys, but is not designed to solve more serious problems.
The speed of a smartphone also depends on the RAM and built-in memory. Doogee X10 has 8 gigabytes on board and only 512 megabytes of RAM, although it would not hurt to have 1 gigabyte of RAM for multitasking and comfort of use.
Doogee X10 has two cameras: main and front. The first has only 5 megapixels, f / 2.2, flash and CMOS sensor, while the second has only 2 megapixels. Both cameras have an auto focus function. If necessary, it will be possible to photograph the clinic's work schedule or the label of any product, but not more. There is no question of any high-quality selfies and photos of food for Instagram.
The manufacturer says that one of the most important advantages of Doogee X10 is a high-capacity battery - 3 360 mAh. This is not much (when compared with business-class smartphones), but with weak hardware, the battery lasts long enough - one and a half to two days.
The review will be incomplete if you forget about the software stuffing. The Doogee X10 smartphone runs on Android 6.0.
Thus, "Dugi", "Dodge" or "Doji" (none of the owners of phones of this brand knows exactly how to read the name correctly) of the X10 model turned out to be weak, cheap, but quite efficient. Price, battery capacity and metal elements of the case are the three main and, perhaps, the only advantages of this smartphone. The disadvantages include low operating speed, poor performance and downright unusable cameras.
