When using Samsung phones, you may encounter three types of blocking: a phone security code, a phone block for an operator, and a SIM card pin code. In each case, there is a sequence of actions that must be taken to remove the protection.
Instructions
Step 1
Phone lock is used to protect personal files - photos, videos, notebooks, messages, and audio recordings. If the lock is on, you will need to enter a password. If you do not know it or have forgotten it, you will need to reset the security settings. Contact your phone manufacturer using the contact information from samsung.com. Provide your phone's IMEI number to receive a security reset code or firmware reset code. Enter one of them and reset the settings. If this operation fails, re-flash the phone.
Step 2
To update the firmware that is responsible for the functioning of your phone, you need to synchronize your phone with your computer. Use the data cable and software disc supplied with your phone. Otherwise, you can download software from samsung.com, and buy a data cable at any cellular store. Install the software and then connect the data cable. This sequence is required for the correct operation. Reflash your phone using the firmware and software that you can download from firmware.sgh.ru and samsung-fun.ru/flash. Proceed with this operation only with the instructions for your software and when the phone is fully charged. Do not use your mobile device or disconnect it until the firmware update is complete - this may result in irreversible damage to the device.
Step 3
If your phone was purchased abroad and blocked for a certain network, then when you turn it on with a SIM card of another operator, you will be asked for an unlock code. You can get it by contacting the mobile operator to which the mobile phone is attached. If you cannot get the code, use step 2 to update the firmware.
Step 4
If you have forgotten the PIN code, you can find it on the SIM card package. If you have already entered it incorrectly three times, you will need a pack code to unlock it. Otherwise, contact the representative of the mobile operator with whom you have a contract. Provide your passport details, confirming your right to own the SIM card and request a replacement.
