In order to be able to receive and send MMS messages (pictures, melodies, video files and much more), you need to activate a special service. It is provided by all mobile operators using several numbers.
Instructions
Step 1
For Megafon subscribers, one of these numbers is 5049. You must send an SMS message with the text "3" to it if you need mms settings, "2" and "1", if you also need Internet and WAP settings. The second number is the subscriber service number 0500 (it is free to call). You just need to get through, wait for the operator's answer and tell him the model of your mobile phone. You can also get MMS settings on the company's website (for this, visit the appropriate section and fill out the form). Once the settings arrive on your phone, be sure to save them.
Step 2
The order of MMS settings (and at the same time of the mobile Internet) to the subscribers of the "Beeline" operator is available by sending a USSD request to the number * 118 * 2 #. The operator will automatically determine the brand of your mobile, and then send the settings (literally in two to three minutes). To save the received settings, you must enter the default password 1234. Connection of other services with this operator is available thanks to the USSD command * 118 #.
Step 3
MTS subscribers, as well as in Megafon, can order mms settings on the operator's website (if you use this method, Internet connection settings will also be ordered automatically). To do this, go to the "Help and Service" menu, and then select the column called "MMS Settings". After that, you will see a field in which you must enter your mobile phone number (only in seven-digit format). However, there is one "But" here: even after activation, sending mms will be impossible (and receiving too) if the GPRS / EDGE service is not connected. To connect it, use the USSD command * 111 * 18 #.
Step 4
MTS subscribers can receive automatic MMS, GPRS settings by sending an SMS message. In the text, specify the command "MMS" and send it to the short number 1234. Besides, do not forget about the free number 0876 (you just need to call it, the settings will be sent to your phone in a few minutes).
