It is not always possible to find out exactly the information about the number of frames taken, because often at a certain stage this counter can be reset, or the data can simply be damaged.
It is necessary
- - Internet connection;
- - a disc from your camera.
Instructions
Step 1
Use third-party software to find out how many files were captured from the time you started using the camera until the current moment. Open the following web page in your browser: https://www.videozona.ru/software/ShowExif/ShowEXIF.zip. Download the file, check it for viruses (although this is not really necessary) and double-click on the icon of the downloaded utility.
Step 2
Click on the Run dialog box that appears and wait for the program to start. This utility is used to view metadata about the image - camera model, date of the picture, time, other information can also be used in the work. Select the line Total Numbers Of Shutter Releases and view the number of shots.
Step 3
Look at the name of the folder with photos on the memory card, also pay attention to the name of the photo. If your camera has not been reset, photos may be named according to the order in which they were taken. Also, for example, folders can have the name of a batch of photos, for example, a thousand or a hundred.
Step 4
View the information you are interested in using the program supplied with your camera, if this function is available for your model. Just install the program on your computer and pair the devices by connecting the camera via the USB port.
Step 5
Open the main menu of your camera, view the data in the system properties, which may also contain a counter of the number of shots taken during the period from the start of using the camera or the last reset. Please note that some Samsung cameras reset information every 10,000 shutters.
