Reception and viewing of television satellite channels is possible anywhere in the country where there is a coverage area of the corresponding satellite. To do this, it is enough to have an antenna of the required diameter, a tuner (TV or DVB) and a TV. Tuning to a satellite is not difficult, so you can do it yourself.

- - ProgDVB program;
- - television;
- - PC.
Instructions
Step 1
Set up your computer to watch satellite TV. To do this, you will need: DVB-card, it is possible with CI-slot (Skystar 1) or without (Skystar 2); ProgDVB program and plugins for it. In addition, if you want to watch encrypted channels, you need a good internet connection.
Step 2
Install a DVB card into the motherboard slot, and first install its software. Adjust according to the prompts on the monitor. Install the ProgDVB program, it will allow you not only to watch TV channels, but also to record them on your PC hard drive. Tune the antenna to the satellite or satellite group. On the ProgDVB Settings tab, select the Device List item and check your card. Click the install button. On the "Settings" tab, select the "DiSEqC and providers" item and mark the required satellite. Click OK.
Step 3
Select the Scan transponder item on the Channel List tab. Set the satellite and transponder on the drop-down tabs, if it is not there, then enter the values manually. Click the Commit button and then Scan. Save the found channels and they will appear on the left side of the main ProgDVB window. Some of them, open or FTA, will be highlighted in green. And the closed ones are red. Click on the first ones, the TV picture will appear in 1-2 seconds, if this does not happen, check the antenna setting. The quality and strength of the satellite signal are visible on the running lines at the bottom of the program window.
Step 4
Set up your satellite TV viewing using this receiver. To do this, you need an FTA tuner or one with a CI slot, into the latter you can insert an access card for digital pay channels. Turn off the receiver from the 220 V power supply and connect the coaxial cable from the satellite converter to the LBN in input. Connect the tuner through the antenna output to the TV and turn it on. On the TV receiver, tune the channel for the receiver. In the device menu, select "Antenna" or "Settings" and set the selected satellite. On the left side there will be the parameters of the registered transponders, if the required one is not there, then enter it manually on the "Edit" tab.
Step 5
Click the Scan button. All available TV channels will be saved. Exit the "Menu" and select any of them. If the channel is “open”, then after 1 second its picture will appear on the TV screen, if not, then an access card is required for viewing. Sort the channels at your discretion into folders - "Favorite", "News", "Sports", "Cartoons" for more comfortable viewing of TV programs.
