In order to use mms (send and receive video files, pictures, melodies and much more), subscribers of any telecom operator must order and activate special settings. In Megafon, there are several such numbers by which you can order settings.
Instructions
Step 1
One of them is the short number 5049. It is necessary to send an SMS message to it, the text of which must contain the number 3 (to activate mms); you can also specify the number 2 or 1 if you also need WAP and Internet settings. Do not forget about the subscriber service number 0500 - you can call it free of charge. Call, wait for the answer of the autoinformer or operator, and then tell him your phone model. You can get the necessary settings at any time right on the Megafon website. To do this, just go to the section with the appropriate name and fill out the request form located there. Once you receive the mms settings, save them, otherwise you will not be able to use the service.
Step 2
Subscribers of other mobile operators can also order such settings. In Beeline, a special USSD request * 118 * 2 # is provided for this, which allows you to simultaneously receive Internet connection settings on your phone. The make and model of your mobile will be determined by the operator automatically, and the settings will be received in a couple of minutes after ordering them. To save new data, you must enter the password 1234 (it is set by default). By the way, subscribers can connect other Beeline services by dialing * 118 #.
Step 3
For MTS customers, ordering MMS settings is also available through the operator's website (when using this method, the phone will automatically receive Internet settings as well). You just have to visit the menu called "Help and Service" and select the "MMS Settings" column. Next, you will see a field - enter your phone number in a seven-digit format in it. Please note that the GPRS / EDGE service must first be activated, because without it, receiving messages will be impossible. In order to activate it, dial the USSD-number * 111 * 18 #.
