Imposed advertising, news, anecdotes and other mailings that come to many subscribers of the Megafon network are not of interest to everyone. To insulate yourself from the never-ending stream of often useless information, you should give up unnecessary telephone services.
It is necessary
- - mobile phone;
- - access to the Internet;
- - service center of the Megafon network.
Instructions
Step 1
Disable services through the "Service Guide" on the official website of the operator "Megafon". To do this, enter the "Service Guide" page by clicking on the link with the appropriate name in the main window of the site. If you do not yet have a password to enter the system, use the algorithm for obtaining it, described on the page that opens, just below the data entry fields. After you receive the password, enter it and your phone number in the proposed form. Select the section: "Service management", then - "Disable all mailings".
Step 2
Contact the round-the-clock reference and information service of the Megafon network by calling 0500. Follow the advice of the autoinformer by pressing the corresponding numbers to go to the menu you need: “Connecting and disconnecting services”. Or contact the operator, give your passport details and ask him to turn off the mailings you do not need. The same can be done directly at the Megafon network representative office, taking your passport with you. If you are denied assistance, you can refer to the possibility of a complaint with a higher authority (for example, Rospotrebnadzor).
Step 3
If an advertisement (anecdotes, news, etc.) appears on the phone screen without any action on your part, you can turn it off. This service is called "Kaleidoscope" and is automatically activated on many SIM cards of Megafon subscribers. To get rid of this service, open the main menu of your phone, go to the MegaFonPRO application, select "Kaleidoscope", then - "Settings", "Broadcast" and "Turn off".
Step 4
In addition, in the settings of your phone, you can also disable the option "Network messages" or "Service messages" (the name depends on the phone model). To do this, go to the main menu, go to the section: "sms-messages", then select "Settings" and then - the above sub-items.
