Therefore, in order to protect their customers from such unwanted moments, large mobile operators have created the Call Barring service, which allows you to exclude the reception of not only SMS messages, but also calls (both within the network and in roaming).

Step 1
To prevent SMS reception, MTS subscribers can use the Internet Assistant on the operator's website or Mobile Assistant by calling 111 and following the instructions in the voice menu. This service can also be managed by sending SMS messages to the same short number 111. The text must contain a sequence of numbers 2119 or 21190. The company's clients can also send a written application by fax (495) 766-00-58.
Step 2
Megafon subscribers can also prohibit incoming SMS and MMS messages, calls (regardless of their type) thanks to the Call Barring service. To activate it, you need to dial the following command on your mobile: * service code * personal password #, and then press the call button. You can find out the appropriate code and password on the official website of the mobile operator (by default, the password is usually set by the operator; its standard form is 111).
Step 3
Beeline users can also protect themselves from unwanted messages and calls by setting a ban with a USSD request to the number * 35 * xxxx # (where xxxx is the access password; this operator has a standard password of 0000).
