Activate the Call Barring service and get rid of unwanted incoming calls (you can block any specific number or put a ban on absolutely all incoming calls). Service activation is available to subscribers of the largest Russian telecom operators. It is provided free of charge.
Instructions
Step 1
For MTS subscribers, connection is available through the "Mobile Assistant" self-service system. You just need to dial the short number 111 on the keypad of your phone, press the call button, and then follow the voice instructions of the answering machine. There is another option for activating the Call Barring service: you can use the Internet Assistant (it is located on the main page of the company's official website). Service management is also possible by sending SMS-messages: dial the text 21190/2119, and then send it to 111. In addition, MTS subscribers can always send their written application by fax (495) 766-00-58.
Step 2
"Call barring" is also available from the telecom operator "Beeline". Its subscribers can protect themselves not only from incoming calls, but also from SMS and MMS messages. In order to set a ban, you must send a special request to the USSD number * 35 * xxxx # (xxxx is your access password). By default, the password usually looks like 0000. But you can change it at any time if you want. You just need to use the ** 03 ** old password * new password # command. Detailed information about the service is available at the toll-free number (495) 789-33-33.
Step 3
Megafon network users can block all incoming calls, as well as outgoing (both international and intranet), and receiving messages (both SMS and MMS). You can activate the ban by dialing a USSD request * service code * personal password # and pressing the call button. By the way, the standard password set by the operator is 111. The service code you need can be found on the official website in the appropriate section.
