The satellite dish is no longer exotic. It allows you to receive high quality TV signals almost anywhere. In addition, a computer equipped with a Skystar-type satellite card enables connection to the global Internet. To tune a satellite dish to a satellite is not a big problem. You just need to understand the compass and know the coordinates of the required satellite.
Necessary
computer, Skystar2 card, configured software, Fastsatfinder 1.6 program, Satellite Antenna Aligment program
Instructions
Step 1
Determine the coordinates of the satellite. To do this, use the Satellite Antenna Aligment program, where enter the coordinates of your location, and then open the "azimuth in the sun" tab. The program will display the coordinates of the satellite Express AM22 and the time when the position of the sun will be in this place. Adjust it during this period.
Step 2
Assemble and install the antenna, keeping in mind that there will be no large objects blocking the line of sight within the line of sight. In the period indicated by the program, start looking for the Express AM22 satellite, you should know that the offset antenna has an offset angle of about 35 degrees. Set the convector to the "0" position. Adjust the antenna so that you can freely move it up - down and left - right, in addition, it should not "fall" on its own, do not forget about the reliability of the fastening and so that it does not fall.
Step 3
Start the Fastsatfinder program. Enter the parameters of the transponder, for example, 10974 SR 29207 V. If they are not there, then you should register them in the.ini file of the program. Or download the new ini file for Fastsatfinder from the Internet.
Step 4
Press the red button and start searching for a satellite. Point the antenna towards the sun and then slowly move the antenna left and right. If it is not found, then you should either raise (increase the tilt angle of the dish), or lower the antenna a few degrees, and then slowly turn the antenna from left to right. Repeat this operation until you hear the program beep. This will happen upon hitting the satellite. Reach the maximum percentage.
Step 5
Adjust the maximum value in azimuth first and mount the antenna in that direction. After that, reach the maximum level in the ascent angle and secure this direction. Do not forget to control the signal reception when tightening, as usually a slight displacement of the satellite dish may occur.
Step 6
Adjust the angle of rotation of the converter. Rotate it, when looking at the antenna, approximately 19 degrees counterclockwise, its value can be viewed in the Fastsatfinder and Satellite Antenna Aligment software. Achieve the maximum value by turning the converter.
