By the law of villainy, you run out of ink in a cartridge on the printing of the last sheets. You can't run to the service center at night, and you need your faithful assistant urgently. Then you will have to refill the laser cartridge yourself, and it is not at all difficult to do this!
Necessary
- -inks that are suitable for the cartridge of your brand;
- - two 20 ml syringes with blunt and sharp needles;
- - a knife and a paper towel or napkin (you can use a newspaper).
Instructions
Step 1
First, make sure it's time to refill the cartridge. If the printed sheet has a vertical streak in the center, then you are actually out of toner. In some printers, cartridges contain a special chip for convenience, which independently counts the number of copies and warns about refueling the cartridge.
Step 2
Remove the cartridge from the printer and place it on a paper towel or tissue. Examine carefully. There is a seam at the bottom, which is usually covered with a sticker - this is the connection between the body and the lid of your cartridge.
Step 3
Use a sharp knife to run along the seam and cut through the sticker. By removing the cover from the cartridge, you open access to the hole for further refilling.
Step 4
A rubber ball is located in the filling hole. Using a sharp needle, pull it out and place it on a paper towel or napkin. Attention, be careful with the ball, do not lose it!
Step 5
Take ink into a syringe with a blunt needle and insert it into the refill hole approximately 0.5-1.0 cm deep. Squeeze out the ink by gently moving the piston. Be sure to keep the cartridge level when doing this. After refilling, draw about 1 ml of ink foam back into the syringe.
Step 6
Place the rubber ball carefully back into the filler hole, turn the cartridge over so that the outlet is at the bottom and check for ink leaks. If everything is normal, then the rubber ball is installed tightly enough.
Step 7
Be sure to remove air from the ink bag, otherwise the printer will not be able to recognize the cartridge and will not print. To do this, tilt the cartridge with the outlet already upward and lower a sharp needle into it to a depth of about 1 cm at a right angle, press on the pump and extract air from the tube into the syringe. Carefully remove the needle from the hole and lower the pad.
Step 8
Close the cartridge with the cap, install it in the printer.
