A certain category of people prefer to install programs on the iPhone using a computer. This option assumes the initial download of applications to the hard drive, rather than the standard installation via online services.
Necessary
- - iPhone Browser;
- - Installer;
- - Mobile Finder.
Instructions
Step 1
Start by preparing your iPhone to install applications. To do this, disable the auto-lock function. Open the "Settings" menu and select "General". Go to the Auto-Lock submenu and move the slider to Disabled or Never. Save the parameters.
Step 2
Download the applications you need using your computer's browser. For convenience, move all downloaded files to a separate folder. Connect your iPhone to your computer with a dedicated cable. Wait for the installation of synchronization between devices.
Step 3
Run Installer on iPhone. This is a standard utility, so you shouldn't have any problems finding it. Select the folder where you copied the installer files of the downloaded programs.
Step 4
Highlight one of these files and click the Install button. Wait for the iPhone to load the selected items and perform a quick restart. Run the installed application and check its functionality.
Step 5
If you prefer to perform all the manipulations from your computer, download a program that allows you to access the internal directories of the iPhone. An example of such a utility is the iPhone Browser utility. Install the specified program.
Step 6
Connect your iPhone to your computer. Run the installed application. Search your hard drive for application files in.app format. Copy them to your iPhone's Applications folder.
Step 7
Download Mobile Finder to grant applications the desired permissions. Install it on iPhone. Run the utility and open the Settings menu. Disable Application Launch.
Step 8
Now open your Applications folder and find the directory of your installed application. Run the file of the same name without the extension. Click the Modify button and check the boxes next to all the available items.
