If a simple cable connection is enough to record music from a computer to an ordinary mobile phone, then a specially designed program is required to work with the iPhone.

Step 1
There are three ways to download music to iPhone. This can be done from your computer through a special program iTunes, through the iTools file manager and directly from the iPhone using the Internet. It seems that downloading music to iPhone is too complicated and tricky. But it is precisely such a difficult download that allows you to properly organize your media library without cluttering it with music tracks that you do not need and you will not listen to.

Through iTunes, you can transfer not any files, but only those in the following formats: wav, aac Protected (from the iTunes Store), mp3 (no more than 320 kbps in size), alac, mp3 vbr, audible (only formats 2, 3 and 4) and aiff. If you want to upload a wma file via iTunes, then the program will automatically convert it to aac format. If the download via iTunes fails, then most likely the downloaded format is not supported by the application.
Step 3
Start an Internet browser on your computer. Go to the official website of Apple, the iPhone developer, at https://www.apple.com. Next, go to the iPod section and click on the Download iTunes link. On the page that opens, specify the current parameters and click the Download Now link. The process of downloading the installation file for installing the application will begin. It is required for recording multimedia data on both iPods and iPhone phones. Double click on the file after it finishes downloading. Specify the desired location for installing the program and wait for the process to complete. Then launch the application.

Next, connect your iPhone to your computer. To do this, connect one end of the USB cable to the corresponding connector on the phone, and the other to the USB port of the system unit. To add music to iPhone, create a new playlist in the iTunes app. To do this, select "File" -> "New Playlist" from the menu. Then, using the interface of the program itself or the explorer of the operating system, add the necessary music files to the window with the created playlist. Wait for them to be completely copied. Downloading music through iTunes is the most time consuming and time consuming method, but it has a number of advantages. When uploading audio, you can add Id3 tags to make it much easier to find the necessary records later. In addition, you can create playlists and sort music into them. You can put a unique cover for each file or playlist. Remember that the song title may differ from the actual file name.

ITools is a great iTunes alternative. The method is remarkable in that synchronization with the device is not needed. The application itself was created to download and upload content to or from the iPhone. The program works only on windows and mac operating systems. Thus, it turns out that this application allows you to download music to your iPhone and listen to it directly in the application created especially for iOS - "Music". Significant disadvantages include the fact that iTools does not have enough capabilities to organize the entire media library, but for some this disadvantage is insignificant. If you really want to, you can write all the necessary tags inside the operating system environment.
Step 8
In order to upload music, connect your iPhone to your PC and turn on the program. Go to the section of the horizontal menu "Music". At the bottom, click on the "Import" icon. In the list that opens, you need to select those files that you want to upload to the phone. After selecting at least one file, the "Open" button is activated. Click on it when you have selected all the tunes you want to upload. All files will be downloaded to your iPhone. It is worth noting that if you download the same audio file first in iTunes and then in iTools, then both of these files will be loaded in the phone's memory without any notification of their identity.

You will encounter some disadvantages when downloading music via iTools. For example, ID3 signatures cannot be edited. Therefore, this will need to be taken care of in advance. In addition, iTools only works in original English, but the program is intuitive and does not require any special knowledge of the language to download music. But this program allows you to download files at high speed and does not require synchronization.
Step 10
The third method to download music to iPhone is only suitable for jailbreak devices. First you need to install the tweak from Cydia - Bridge. After that, you will need to find a direct link to download music. Please note that if the link to the downloaded material redirects to the preliminary login and password input or captcha input, then nothing will work. Launch Safari on your phone and find the site that provides a direct link. One of the most famous sites of this kind is https://get-tune.net/. It remains only to select the track that you need and with a long tap on the "Download" sign, open the menu that allows you to copy the link. After copying to the clipboard, go to Bridge and go to the "Download" menu item. You need to open the "Enter URL" page. You will be presented with a blank page with a single field where you will need to enter the link you copied earlier. Click on the "Play" button and the download of the media file will begin. In addition to downloading to your device, through the application, you can enter all the metadata for the file. If you don't want to, you can leave these fields as they are and click on the "Import" button. The file will then be ready for listening in the Music application.
