It is possible to play the same game on different PlayStation Portable consoles in several cases, however, a prerequisite will always be the presence of at least one game disc in the drive. Also note that pirated copies of the games are not available online.
Necessary
- - disc with the game;
- - Wi-Fi connection.
Instructions
Step 1
Run the same game on different consoles, making sure the discs are in the UMD drives of the devices, and enable Wi-Fi on both consoles. Please note that a licensed game disc must be inserted in both devices, and the option when any disc is used in flashed devices to run unlicensed games from, images will not help here.
Step 2
Turn on the "Multiplayer" mode on one device, on the second in this menu, select "Join the game" after the system finishes scanning for available network devices. Wait until the game starts automatically or you have a special menu to start it.
Step 3
Use the special function of transferring data over the Wi-Fi network “Game Sharing” if there is only one game disc. This technology provides the transfer of some game files to the console, which does not have this game, allowing the player to view the necessary elements. This feature may not be available on all models, so check both attachments for it.
Step 4
Insert it into the UMD drive of one of the consoles and select the "Network" / Network option in the menu of the running game. Select a connection using the Game Sharing function (or Share Game - in some versions of device firmware). On the second PlayStation Portable, activate the co-op option in the Game section, which is already in the main menu of the device itself.
Step 5
Wait for the end of the network scan and select the connection to the game of the first console. Confirm the request and click "OK" on both STBs. Make the appropriate settings for the players, specify the necessary data to continue, after which the game will be launched by you or automatically. Note that you and the second player must be close enough to maintain signal strength.
