Step 1
Pre-check the possibility of using your mobile phone model as a modem. To do this, open the instructions for it or find the information you need by visiting the manufacturer's website. Download the program required to synchronize your mobile phone with your computer. Usually the utilities PC Studio or PC Suite are used.

Connect your phone to your computer using a special cable. Wait while the phone is detected and the correct drivers are installed. If a menu for selecting connection types appears on the screen of your mobile phone, then select "Modem" or PC Suite. Run the installed utility and wait until the connection with the phone is established.
Step 3
Open the Internet Connection menu. Configure the settings for this connection. Please note that the mobile phone must be configured to access the internet. Customize the menu that opens by entering data in the following fields: "login", "password" and "access point". Activate the function "Automatically reconnect when disconnected". This saves you the hassle of periodically reconnecting.
Step 4
Click the "Connect" button and wait until the connection with the operator is established. Launch a web browser and check for network access. Download and install Traffic Compressor software. Run this utility. It will increase the speed of loading Internet pages.
Step 5
To save traffic, it is better to disable some functions in your browser. Open its settings menu and go to the Display or Content menu. Uncheck the "Automatically download images" checkbox.
Step 6
Do not close PC Suite. Disabling it will lead to the disconnection of the Internet connection. Check the battery level of your phone periodically, as it consumes a relatively large amount of power in this operating mode.
