Internet Explorer has a function to restrict (limit, in other words) access to content, or Content Advisor. This function is standard, you can turn it off if you need it. However, for this you need to know the password. If you have forgotten it and there is no way to restore it, this can be a problem. However, you can turn off the limit in other ways.
Instructions
Step 1
Go to the "Start" menu to bring up the main menu of the MS Windows operating system, then select the "Run" item. The Registry Editor tool launches.
Step 2
Enter the value regedit in the "Open" field, and then click the "OK" button, thereby confirming the execution of the command. By the way, before making any changes to the registry, it is recommended to make a backup copy of it.

Find the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE registry branch, go to the Software -> Microsoft -> Windows -> Current Version -> Policies -> Ratings folders, then right-click the Key context menu.

Select the "Delete" command, then press the Enter key to confirm your changes.

Next, you need the Default subkey menu. Call it and delete (if the key existed).

Start Internet Explorer, then select the "Tools" menu item in the toolbar of the browser window.

Select "Internet Options", then - item "Access Restriction".

Next, you need the Content item, and after that, the Content tab, which you need to select in the Internet Options dialog box that opens.

Activate the "Disable" button, which is in the section called "Access Restriction", by clicking the left mouse button. In the Password field, create a new password.

By re-entering the password in the Confirm password field, you will confirm its change. Then click on "OK" to save the changes made.

Go to the Allowed Sites tab, then enter the desired Internet address in the box titled Allow Next Site View.

To create an entry in the "List of Allowed and Denied Websites", click the "Always" button.
