Step 1
The Windows 7 operating system includes such gadgets as "weather", "clock", "calendar", "puzzle" and others. To install these gadgets on your desktop, you need to take several steps.
Step 2
Right-click on an empty spot on the desktop. A context menu will appear, in which you need to select the "gadgets" sub-item. Next, a small window with a collection of gadgets will open in front of you.
Step 3
Select some application, for example "clock". Double-click on it with the left mouse button or simply drag it to the desktop. Move the cursor over the clock. Two buttons "close" and "options" will appear in the upper right corner. By clicking on the "options" button, you can adjust the time zone or give the watch your own name. Also, you can choose a watch from all those presented in the operating system, according to the design of the dial. Thus, you can install on the desktop all the gadgets that are in the windows 7 operating system.
Step 4
If you are not satisfied with the gadgets you have, you can download new ones from the Internet. There are many sites where you can do this absolutely free. In the window with a set of gadgets, in the lower right corner there is a button "find gadgets on the Internet". It will give you quick access to new gadgets. Download the gadget anywhere on your computer.
Step 5
Next, run the file with the extension. gadget by double-clicking the left mouse button. Such files have specific icons depicting a calculator, clock and a sheet. After starting the file, a security warning window will appear. Click the button in this window to "install". These files do not pose a threat to the operating system.
Step 6
Installing the gadget takes no more than a minute. Wait for it to install on your desktop. All applications you download will be located in a window in the collection. You can install multiple gadgets on your desktop at once.
