If you have a Windows XP operating system and are not going to change it, then you need to update it to SP3 and install NET Framework 3.0. Then you will have the opportunity to install this program by first downloading the distribution kit from the Internet.

If your operating system is Windows Vista, then you just need to enable it. To do this, you need to click on the "start" button, then go to the "all programs" list and select the "standard" folder in it. In it, select the "Windows sidebar" item and gadgets will open in front of you, which you can add to your sidebar.

Also, if you want the sidebar to be on top of other windows, then you need to adjust the settings. Go to "Start". Next, go to the “Control Panel” tab.
